Important things to know

Experience a plain and simple training principle. These instructions are well thought through.

Are the tensile and pressure resistance of dumbbells, fitness studio equipment and the Isokinator comparable?

This depends on various factors such as body size, joint position and leverage.

Does it suffice to work out using the Isokinator exclusively or do I need to do something else too?

Working out with the ISOKINATOR is whole-body training. This makes all other forms of exercise unnecessary.

Does Isokinator training require an adaptation phase?

No, not generally. But it doesn’t hurt to try out some exercises in STAND-BY mode to begin with.

How do you clean the Isokinator?

It’s simple. Just put it in the dishwasher (not the washing machine).

If agonist and antagonist muscles are not (yet) equal in strength

An ISOKINATOR often trains agonist and antagonist muscles simultaneously.

May I engage in other types of sports too?

If you want to engage in a leisure-time sport as well, you should do so on training-free days or on weekends if possible.

On which days and at which times is it best to work out?

After a 20-25 minute workout, your musculature will need a training-free day for regeneration and growth.

Should I do cardio training as well?

Endurance effects are included in the ISOKINATOR training program as well, however.

What does it mean if the resistance regulator shifts during an exercise?

If the resistance regulator shifts during an exercise, this is a sign of a lack of concentration.

What should I do if I get sore muscles or experience pain?

Two to three days after an unfamiliar workout, the body shows you where the exercise "hit home". Give your body a break for 1-2 days and restart your training slowly.

What should I do if I have a cold or the flu?

If you are coming down with an infectious disease, the ISOKINATOR often gives an indication of this early on.

When should I increase the resistance?

The right resistance per exercise should always be high enough that you can plan to do the next set of 10 movements, but often only manage to do 6 to 8.

Why do exercise movements slowly?

Avoid additional speed exercises to supplement your ISOKINATOR training. Forget fast chin-ups and push-ups while clapping your hands in the air.

Does a training device need to be big?

The ISOKINATOR provides your musculature with the same training resistances used for large fitness studio equipment.

Do I need to be able to see the control display all the time?

Once you've used the Isokinator, you'll know that it's not necessary to constantly keep your eyes on the gold balls.

Can I train differently with the Isokinator?

Yes you can, but you're never guaranteed to get better results. Read here why this is so

Why is the Isokinator so suitable for people with joint problems?

There are 3 things that are responsible for this. And only the clever combination of these 3 points succeeds only with the Isokinator.
